Using this site

The information on this site is general. We keep it accurate and up to date, but details such as availability and what is included can change, so we confirm them in writing before anything is booked. Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, overload it, or copy it wholesale.

Enquiries and bookings

Nothing on this site is a booking or a binding offer. Sending an enquiry doesn’t commit you or us to anything. When you’re ready to book a lodge demonstration, a system for your lodge, or a private safari, we’ll send you the details in writing, including what is included, payment terms and cancellation terms. A booking is made only when you accept those written terms.

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 aren’t affected by these terms. Please note that under section 42 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the seven-day cooling-off period doesn’t apply to leisure and accommodation services booked for a specific date. The cancellation terms in your written booking apply instead.

Footage and content

The thermal footage, stills, text and design on this site belong to Thermal Safaris or are used with permission. Every clip is a real recording from our drives, labelled with the date and time shown on the camera. Clips are trimmed and cropped for the web, and one dawn clip is also stabilised. None is recoloured or staged. You may share links to our pages. Please ask before reusing footage or images anywhere else.

Wildlife

The clips show what one drive happened to find. Wild animals come and go on their own terms, so we can’t promise particular sightings on any drive.

Other websites

Links to WhatsApp, YouTube and other websites are for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for their content.

Liability

We provide this site as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss caused by relying on general information on the site, or by the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@thermalsafaris.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
